"The Magic Bon Bones" reminds me of "The Rose and the Ring", in this case too is about magic objects that are supposed to give magic talents to the owners, things growing complicated if the owner is mistaken or changed. The subject of the story seems quite actual, of course we would pay to have extra talents or improve our own if we had the chance. I liked the fact that the moral does not go too deep, we should think before we judge somebody's actions, maybe he/she ate some magic candy from somebody's unattended supply.
Also when the fancy lady said to Dr. Daws "Are you sure you have made them strong enough?" [she inquired, anxiously,] "it usually takes a great deal to affect me" I saw Dr. Daws like her personal "Magic" (if not drug) dealer. We also can't know what were those bon bones containing
