Working in the library, I managed to get my hands on Arthur Publishing House version of the "The Adventures of Peter Rabbit". The 2018 hardcover edition of the "The Adventures of Peter Rabbit" brings together four of the most beloved adventures with Peter Rabbit in the universe created by Beatrix Potter. The little rabbits created by the author seem to have humanlike features: they dress up, they work, they play and they even speak. Therefore, "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" introduces us the little and troublesome bunny named Peter, who lives with his mother and his three other brothers: Mopsy, Flopsy and Cottontail. Although Peter is warned not to step into the gardens of Mr. Mc.Gregor, he ventures into the forbidden territory. From here to a great adventure, there is only one step. "The Tale of Benjamin Rabbit" introduces us to Benjamin, the cousin of Peter, who arrives to visit his relatives, near Mr. Mc Gregor's house. Convincing his cousin to go to Mr. Mc.Gregor's residence, the two bunnies enter a lot of trouble when Mr. Mc.Gregor's cat appears. In "The Tale of Flopsy Bunnies," the danger is lurking on the babies of Benjamin and Flopsy after they are caught by Mr. Mc.Gregor and brought for dinner. And finally, in "The Tale of Mr. Tod", we are presented with the adventures of Tommy Brock and Mr. Tod - the fox, who are in a conflict because of the previously mentioned rabbits. The texts are accompanied by the author's original illustrations, and the book is perfect for all Beatrix Potter fans and all children who wonder what happened next to Peter the Rabbit, his relatives and friends after the original story ended.
